The objective of this project is to discover and develop
technological methodology for biological scientists to more efficiently
and economically collect, sample, and communicate via the Internet,
in real or delayed time, raw field data from remote and difficult
sites and sensors under a wide range of environmental conditions
by using advanced forms of wireless data communications. This objective
extends to creating, proving out, and describing models which can
be replicated in a wide variety of biological research projects
being pursued anywhere in the world by, or in support of, US science.
